Roshan Doug is an art collector and investor, British writer and academic of Indian descent, and education management consultant. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, former Poet Laureate commissioned by Buckingham Palace and many other organisations including the High Commission of India, and the USA Embassy, London. He has been nominated and the recipient of many awards including the Asian Jewel Awards, the Forward Poetry Prize, and the Sony Radio Awards. He has published five poetry collections and countless reviews, academic papers and articles. He and his family - the Duggals - support the Indian government on promoting Hindu culture and social welfare programmes in economically deprived communities. Currently, he is working on a range of projects including providing investment in arts and arts related projects such as sports, music and theatre.
