Roshan Doug is one of the highest profiled commissioned artists living in the UK. His work is displayed in a range of public spaces including shopping centres, libraries and art galleries.

Roshan has been commissioned by organisations including: Buckingham Palace to mark HM the Queen's 75th birthday (2001); Martineau Place Shopping Centre, Birmingham (2001); United States Embassy, London (2005); The High Commission of India (2003) and BBC's Children In Need, 2000. Since then, the Birmingham Rep have also commissioned poems for their production of Mike Leigh's Abigail's Party and Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party, both in 2003.

Two portraits of Roshan have been completed by the artists, John Davenport (Royal Birmingham Society of Arts, 2011) and Graham Kershaw in 2005 (as part Birmingham Library’s 'Poetraits project'). The latter is on display at the Cafe, Poetry Society.
